Could it be a problem with the R6 JVM version? Lotus is all over the map with how they support JVMs - case in point is the problems between IE and Notes clients with clashing java versions that disable each other's applets.

I don't think it's a UI issue - the java libraries are just concerned with creating graphics output on the document. This database is sparsely supported by Lotus - for instance there is zero documentation on the meaning of the report columns in the output. It works fine on schedule for me on Dom 5.0.12 with Win 2k server, but the problem is explaining the report to management. How the values are arrived at in columns like "previous hop" and "relayed" are not explained.

I think it was just a skunkworks project somebody at IBM did to try java agents in Domino 5 but it is hardly included in the Domino Admin documentation.
